On March 12, 2011, Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory in San Francisco offered its very popular Ladies Spa…aahhh Night for the third year in a row – revitalizing, rejuvenating and pampering hundreds of happy women.
The invitation affectionately said “This event is open to all mothers, daughters, sisters, aunties, grandmothers, cousins…basically all the ladies in our SHCP community including staff, faculty and past alumni for an evening of pampering.” I gave a lecture/demo on Tai Chi while my daughter Chelsea taught Yoga. Yes, it’s all in the family. Chelsea has joined me in perpetuating her grandfather Tai Chi Master Peng’s mission to promote health. Dozens of pampered ladies listened and learned about the Asian exercises. They had so much fun, they didn’t even realize they were exercising! It doesn’t have to be grunt work.
